5 Minute Skin Care Routine For Looking 5 Years (or more)Younger

Today is your lucky day! I’m going to let you in on a little secret. In just 5 minutes a day, you can transform your skin into looking 5 years (or more!) younger.



As you may know, skin care is not cookie-cutter, it is not a one size fits all; but there are 3 skincare products that everyone should be using:


1. Medical-grade Vitamin C (used in the AM)


2. Retinol (used in the PM)


3. Sunscreen (30 SPF or higher)


Vitamin C protects the skin from environmental damage (Hello, Sun…I’m talking to you.). Vitamin C is also a powerful antioxidant that prevents inflammation and damage that causes wrinkles and discoloration. Vitamin C should be applied in the morning, after cleansing. Retinol, on the other hand, corrects the damage that has already been done. By increasing cellular turnover and building collagen, retinol helps soften (and sometimes eliminate) fine lines and wrinkles. Retinol should be applied at night because the sun degrades the product and does make you more susceptible to sunburn. The final secret is sunscreen…Every. Single. Day. UVA rays are present 365 days a year…yes, even when it’s raining, even when it’s overcast, even when it’s bitter cold and snowing.
