Completely Fit!

So why do I call myself your 3 part Wellness Coach? We are triune beings. We are made up of 3 parts. Our Mind, our Body and our Spirit. We aren’t fully well unless all 3 are healthy. You really cannot be your best self without nourishing them all. As a practitioner with all the credentials needed to help you lose weight, get tone, get physically stronger, totally fit, and everything else that goes along with your physical appearance and physical health, I happen to know that it is almost impossible to achieve a Fit Body without a Strong Mind.

That being said, without a Strong Spirit, a Strong Mind isn’t all that likely either. Physical health is very important to me personally, for myself. And, I take pride in my appearance, and you should too! It is important to feel confident with your physical body because it translates into all aspects of your life. Never allow anyone to make you feel that taking care of yourself is selfish. Maintaining good health and improving your health is a responsibility! Just because your physical appearance is a bonus byproduct of it, doesn’t make it wrong. In fact, all of this means you just become better at EVERYTHING! When we are in good physical health, and feel good about how we look, we are better at taking care of others. When we feel good about ourselves and are confident, we are better balanced emotionally and mentally, therefore becoming more available to the emotional needs of others. It’s OK to have these goals and if someone else misunderstands your purpose, you can’t help how they feel, and it simply isn’t your problem. But honestly, the most confidence comes from your identity….Knowing who you are and whose you are……What-Who your spirit has intimate communication with. Let’s get deep for a second….. Having said all I did about our body, it is important though, to recognize that the physical body is temporal and therefore, it is not the MOST important. We tend to focus first on what we can see. It is our “internal parts” (and I don’t mean our organs) that are eternal. Our purpose and identity are not found on the outside, they are found on the inside. We all agree that we have a mind, and there’s no denying we have a body. But people tend often to ignore the fact that we have a spirit. The spirit longs and craves to be fed. Just like your body will die if you don’t feed it, just like flowers will wither and die if you don’t water them, the spirit dies if we don’t “feed and water” it. Denying the spirit breeds discontentment, lack of joy ……….UNHAPPINESS. We were created to long for, to have hope in, to believe in something other than ourselves. It’s just innate to know there’s something more. If we don’t cultivate that innateness, we are not fully caring for ourselves. When this longing goes unfulfilled, then obviously there is a void. With this void, we can’t completely know happiness. Mind, body and spirit work in unison to complete “happy and healthy”. If any of them are being neglected, you are incomplete. In order to be your absolute best self, to meet your weight loss goals, your fit body aspirations, your pursuit of feeling strong, energetic and capable, your best chance is to hone your focus on nourishing all 3 of your “parts” MIND, BODY and SPIRIT! That is FITNESS³
