SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE OUR DREAMS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. But think about it…..the very word says ‘I’m possible’ The difference between dreamers and makers is taking action in spite of those feelings of overwhelmment. I’m talking to myself here too! Operating a Health and Wellness website, training full time clients in person, coaching members of Girl Gang, running a household, and other major tasks there are to accomplish, are daunting. It is tempting to procrastinate, stay frozen in place because you don’t know EXACTLY what the next steps should be. Most of the time, people don’t openly share their struggles, they puff their chest out, like they have it all figured out, so it makes you feel like you’re out on an island on your own. Well…..they don’t! They didn’t! EVERYONE has those feelings of their dreams, or goals being impossible.
Just because you may have fallen off the wagon in your pursuit toward your dreams, doesn’t mean you can’t get back on it. Just because you have temporary failure, doesn’t mean that’s it, you missed your chance. Implementing changes that make you better and or improve your health and fitness, or whatever your dreams and goals may be, are never comfortable, and therefore consistency is a real struggle. You’re not alone, really it happens to everyone. Anyone who has ever achieved a dream of any kind had a tough time doing it. Sometimes it means walking away from comfort and into difficulties purposefully, because ultimately that’s what’s best for you, because ultimately that is how you will be the happiest. Ultimately it just MAKES. LIFE. BETTER. And with that (the walking away from comfort) comes “falling” a bit. But practice makes progress. So you just try again, and again, and again, and AGAIN. What we do now, determines what we are in the future!
The emotions you feel about pursuing your goals are intense. In these moments, don’t forget to appreciate the progress you have made in the past. And that the intensity you feel is an indication that you are in pursuit of something that really matters to you! You just never know what great success you will achieve by sticking with your pursuit. Also, don’t allow an environment that opposes your goals, create one that makes them inevitable!! When your desire for what you want is STRONG enough, you’ll acheive it!!!
The good news is that your mindset is developed enough to recognize that you want to make some sort of difference, for yourself or for others! Making this difference may not be easy, but when was easy ever appreciated anyway?
Your mind, just like your body needs support, consistency, and repetition. Support YOU with self-compassion. Stay consistent with gratitude and recognition of past accomplishments. Enter through that door that leads you to your dream. Let Faith and Hope enter first through the door! On the inside will be your happiness. Be repetitive with affirmations to yourself that what you want to accomplish IS possible!! YOU ARE POSSIBLE
Big, loving hugs from me to you – A
