Hills are the way….

When choosing where to run, do you consider the terrain? I am serious about my running topography, who wants to run steep hills or flat repeatedly? I urge you to consider the different workouts you do as it does impact our bodies and motivation to run. I try to vary my runs each and every time. I run hills at least once a week. This provides me with a challenge that keeps me in an anaerobic state rather than a steady pace state. Running hills doesn’t mean just picking a hilly course. It could be as simple as repeating one hill 4- 6 times, with the intention of decreasing your time while increasing your efficiency. Running hills provides a challenge with a different mindset. When done frequently, this builds endurance, increases strength, improves form, and boosts speed in the long run. Running hills can be seen as a power workout for the quads, calves, hamstrings, and glutes. Adding this routine will make you a stronger runner and kick up those endorphins! Plus, you will feel on top of the world once you climb that hill
