Run or Rest

Running is a sure-fire way to feel great, until you have a run that makes you more tired than when you started. Sometimes, we need to think about the quality of our runs. If your runs result in a nap or achy body, maybe it’s time to take a break. We all have good runs and bad runs but don’t forget that our bodies need rest. When I have a good run, I feel energized but sometimes I hear myself say “I am glad that’s over”. Just the other day, I needed a nap right after I ran. This is a time to stop reflect, try another exercise, re-energized then get back out there!
