For the last few posts in this series, the question of “Why” run has been explored. Although, there may be other reasons to run my final thoughts on “why” is because it’s part of who I am. I have run for over 20 years and without running a part of me is missing. It’s not just a feeling or an activity, it defines what I know and how I manage. Is running part of you? Does it give you joy? Does it in a sense, complete you? I love the positive vibes it gives me. I love the feeling of accomplishment. I love how it clears my mind. I love the company. I love the crisp cool or hot sweaty feeling. I love the calories it burns. Most of all, I love that I can do it! So, I say lace up and get out there and explore why you run. However, “Why” we run is only part of the puzzle.
