Thanks and Giving in Running terms

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the blessings in our lives. Have you ever thought about thanks and giving in terms of running? Our bodies pound out mile after mile which makes me thankful for… every step, every muscle, every tendon, every bone, and every joint that functions without fail. My mind motivates me and gives me the drive to complete each mile. The reverse is also a thought worth having, what do you give your body to promote your running lift? Consider the nutrition, muscle lifts, the sound state of mind, and most of all your dedication to yourself when you are out there. Suffice to say, running is more than just a sport, it’s a give and take for yourself. As the holidays approach, do not abandon your routine, get out there and give a little to yourself. You are worth it!
