Where to run?

In the past month, I talked about “Why” we run. Next, I consider how location can be a key component of running. “Where” is a whole other question to think about when it comes to running. I run in different locations frequently. How do you choose “Where” to run? I live in an area with winter and summer conditions that restrict my running outdoors. However, I don’t let it stop me. The fresh air of winter is the main reason I survive the cold, dark, winter months. I love to run outside with a quiet country atmosphere with little traffic and birds chirping. Road running is my preference as trail running is a skill I haven’t mastered. Where we run impacts our motivation to run as well as our physical being. Next time you go out, think about it, where do you like to run?
